  1. Walking in the Betty Queen Center Gym

    January 1, 2018, 6:45 AM - April 30, 2018, 8:00 AM @ Betty Queen Center

    The Betty Queen Center is available for walking during January through April, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45 AM - 8:00 AM. These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

  2. Billiards Club

    Are you aged 21 or older and love playing billiards, but have no place to play? Come join the Cue Ball Billiards Club at the Betty Queen Center. The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

  3. Sunday Billiards

    Billiards fans...you can now come to the Betty Queen Center on Sundays and play pool in the Teen Center from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Sunday Billiards cost $2 each time you attend and are open to the general public ages 21 and older, as well as current Club members.

  4. Firearm Safety: For Men

    April 14, 2018, All Day @ April 12th: Sheriff's Office Conference Room April 14th: Louisa Firing Range

    Participants will learn the basic principles of handling a firearm as well as instruction in firearm safety. This course is one of the steps necessary to qualify for a concealed weapon’s permit. DO NOT bring your handgun to the weekday class! Participants must provide their own handgun and ammunition for Saturday’s class at the Firing Range. Men and women will participate together for the Range portion of these classes. Firearm Safety is instructed by Detective Sergeant Scott Cox and Deputy Eric Gholson of the Louisa County Sheriff’s Department.

  6. Jessica's Story-time & Crafts

    Instructor Jessica Mehlhaff offers Usborne Books in this storytime and craft classes to children age 1 through 5. Let books open a world of possibilities to your young children. Exciting activity books, as well as neat fiction series, and internet-linked science and history stories will compete with the vast media that attracts children today. All materials for the project/craft AND a book to take home are included for each class. Registration deadlines are the Tuesday prior to Saturday class date.

  7. LCPRT Cornhole Tournament

    April 14, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Betty Queen Center

    Come join LCPRT as we bring out the cornhole boards and toss around some bean bags! Cornhole is a game where players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole at the far end. It’s a fun game that all ages can play. Our double elimination tournament will be limited to the first 25 teams who register, and we all know how popular cornhole is, so register early! Teams consist of two players, and can be both male, both female, or one male and one female, but all participants must be ages 16 or older. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finalists. Tournament play is subject to change, depending on registration numbers. the deadline to sign up for the fun is April 6th.
