    January 1, 2018, 6:45 AM - April 30, 2018, 8:00 AM @ Betty Queen Center

    The Betty Queen Center is available for walking during January through April, 2018 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:45 AM - 8:00 AM. These are the only times the gym is available for walking during these Winter and Spring months; however, these hours are subject to change.

  2. Billiards Club

    January 1, 2018, 9:00 AM - April 30, 2018, 3:00 PM @ Betty Queen Center - Teen Center

    Are you aged 21 or older and love playing billiards, but have no place to play? Come join the Cue Ball Billiards Club at the Betty Queen Center. The Teen Center is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The cost is just $10 for membership for January through April 2018. Play pool and spend time socializing with others who love the game. Hey ladies...this club is NOT just for men! Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?

  3. Sunday Billiards

    Billiards fans...you can now come to the Betty Queen Center on Sundays and play pool in the Teen Center from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Sunday Billiards cost $2 each time you attend and are open to the general public ages 21 and older, as well as current Club members.

    Louisa County Parks and Recreation (LCPRT) is bringing RESTAURANT WEEK back in 2018! The purpose of Restaurant Week is for local restaurants to partner with LCPRT to promote a week of their signature lunch and dinner specials at discounted/bundled prices. This is a great opportunity for both residents and visitors to check out the diverse selection of restaurants in Louisa County, and for local restaurants to showcase some of their best dishes! If YOU are excited about their 2018 Restaurant Week: TAG your favorite restaurant on Visit Louisa's Event Page and encourage them to join LCPRT’s Restaurant Week!     Join MargaretAnne in her No-Low Impact Workout! As we mature, our joints don’t like the impact and we begin to slow down. MargaretAnne has taken the best of all of the workouts available and modified them so anyone can do them~standing, using a chair for support, or sitting. This is not an easy workout by no means...you WILL sweat, you WILL work muscles in new ways, and MargaretAnne WILL encourage you to ensure you get the most out of each class and see those results - a stronger, leaner you! This class is for everyone, whether just beginning or wanting to try something new. Please wear supportive shoes (sneakers are ideal) and don’t forget to bring a yoga mat, water bottle and towel. If you can’t commit to a full session drop in to as many classes as you’d like for $8 per class.

    Would you like to learn the latest fitness craze taking over the country? Well, we are your Pickleball Headquarters! Join instructor Noel Lowery for this introduction clinic to learn the basic skills of the sport including equipment, game play, rules, scoring, strokes, serve, and game etiquette. All equipment will be provided at each of these clinic dates. Each date has a maximum enrollment of 12 participants, so if you are interested in learning this game, be sure to register early!

  7. Louisa Pickelball

    March 4, 2018, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Betty Queen Center

    Pickleball is the fastest growing adult sport in the country and LCPRT is your place for Everything Pickleball! Played on a badminton court with the net dropped to 34 inches, the sport encompasses elements of tennis, racquetball, and ping pong. This program is open to adults~of any age! Limited equipment is available at no charge to help as you are introduced to the sport. We offer a drop-in rate of $2 each time you come to play or you can buy a punch pass good for 12 visits for only $20. Punch passes can only be purchased weekdays at the Betty Queen Center. Join us and discover this fun sport for yourself.
