Summer Cinema Series

Join LCPRT as we partner once again with the Louisa Arts Center to offer families something fun to do on Tuesday afternoons this summer. Louisa Arts Centerís theater will make this Summer Cinema Series great entertainment for the whole family. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Movies start at 11:30 a.m. The fee for each movie is only $2 for ages 3 through 18 and $3 for adults. No need to preregister; just show up and pay at the door. Come join us!


June 6: Moana
In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches an impetuous Chieftainís daughterís island, she answers the Oceanís call to seek out the Demigod to set things right.

June 13: Paddington
A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone at Paddington Station, he meets the kindly Brown family, who offers him a temporary haven.

June 20: The Secret Life of Pets
Maxís life as a favorite pet is turned upside down when his owner brings home a mongrel named Duke. They must put their quarrels aside when they discover that a bunny named Snowball is building an army of lost pets determined for revenge.

June 27: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Alexanderís day begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by more calamities. However, he finds little sympathy from his family and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him, his mom, dad, brother and sister - who all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

July 11: Finding Dory
The friendly but forgetful blue tang fish, Dory, begins a search for her long-lost parents, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

July 18: Pete's Dragon
An American fantasy comedy-drama about the adventures of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot, who just happens to be a dragon.

July 25: Sing
In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresarioís attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists find that their lives will never be the same.
