Pickle Fermentation


Pickles are so versatile that we eat them with almost everything and our gardens are usually overly full of cucumbers. So why not let Sharon Munyak of Hobby Hill Farm show you how to make them using the simple process of fermentation? These fantastically nourishing crunchy pickles are easy to make and work well in small batches. So what is the secret to a crunchy pickle? The fresher the cucumber, the crunchier the pickle! Please bring a couple glass canning jars with lids to class and be sure to wear closed toe shoes. Registration deadline is July 28th but pickle making is popular, so be sure you sign up before the class is full.
