As a parent, are you just not ready to send your Middle School student home alone after school? Well, Louisa County Parks, Recreation and Tourism has the answer for your predicament.
We will come and pick up your child from the cafeteria side of the Middle School and bring them to the Betty Queen Center for an afternoon of activities. It is our mission to create a positive environment that will contribute to the overall social, physical, and cultural development of the teens in Louisa County.
The students will be supervised at all times and are allowed to stay until 6:30 p.m. We follow the inclement weather schedule of the public school system and will be closed when school is closed or when school closes early due to weather conditions.
What We Offer
We have TVs and gaming systems to keep things fun and exciting. Teens will have time to do homework and socialize as well as use of computers, billiard table, and foosball table. Homework support, structured play, character and leadership development and special teen events are the key components of this program.
Who Can Come
Our Teen Center program is open to students in grades 6 through 12, but only Middle School students will be transported to the Teen Center.
After paying the $10 registration fee for the school year, there is a daily fee of $5 on the days your child attends.
